Enclosed within the Puyallup Indian Reservation is the City of Fife. It was recognized as a city on February 11, 1957. The city has the ZIP code of 98424, area code of 253, and an FIPS code of 53-23795. In the 2018 census, there were 10,191 people residing in Fife. As to where the name of the city came from, there are two possibilities being considered. The first possibility is that the city may have been named after William J.
